Strong support from Bukit Puchong community at the annual event aimed to create awareness on healthy living and the importance of blood donations
The annual Blood Donation & Healthy Day 2017 held on 20 May 2017 at Bukit Puchong Sales Gallery resulted in 62 packets of blood collected from residents of Bukit Puchong.
Organised with the aim to create awareness on healthy living and the importance of blood donation, residents turned up in full force to support the annual health event.
Blood donation was also contributed by officers of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) from the Bukit Puchong Police Station.
As a token of appreciation, donors were given complimentary lunch.
Apart from blood donations, residents were given free health screening that included blood pressure check, glucose test, nutritionist’s advice and health package promotion.
The Blood Donation & Healthy Day 2017 is one of TAHPS “We Care" Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme initiative
It was made possible with collaboration from the National Blood Bank.
